For over 30 years have been driving from Nuremberg to the Ott two or three times a year. They simply have the best chicken and a great beer. We recommend.

It's Corona's time On Saturday we tried to order a table. Information: there is not always a place for 2 people. Sunday: Attempting to get a seat is not possible, we should sit down at the table somewhere! On the advice of a recommended distance: oh, that doesn't matter! This behavior confirms that we do not visit any places. Loss of revenue: own responsibility.

Good and tasty beer from the in-house brewery, plus delicious Franconian dishes at affordable prices. The half grilled chickens are great and my recommendation "mouflon ragout". Simply delicious .. There are seating options inside and outside. Very nice staff. Definitely recommendable. We would love to come back!

Sundays the inn is very busy, noisy and many table reservations. It is located on Brauereienweg. There is a terrace on the street to sit outside. Our crispy chicken was delicious. Parking is opposite.

Beautiful brewery inn with delicious food. There is also a daily menu with changing dishes. We had half the bunch of chips and salad, and the dumplings with chanterelles (from the day menu). Both were excellent. Very delicious was the dark and light beer. We will be back definitely.

absolutely the best restaurant in the area

Stopped here for lunch as part of a hike from Heiligenstadt. It was absolutely packed but the owner managed to squeeze us on a table. The food looked amazing as it came out and our first choice was out by the time they took our order. It seemed pretty disorganized but maybe they're not used to such a big crowd. At any rate, we had salmon over pasta and it was excellent if not what we wanted. The beer was decent but not up to par with others in the area. I'd go back but not on Good Friday again!

We were with a group of just under 20 and the service was still very fast and friendly and the food was delicious and reasonably priced for the size of the serving. It was good and the toilets were very clean.

The brewery inn located in an idyllic location has a very good day ticket and parking is also available. I had half a chicken with potato salad and side salad which I enjoyed very much overall. Only the price for half a chicken with both salads, which costs € 8.80, I find for a country inn in Upper Franconia already in the upper price range.
